This summer we are offering a combination of favorite camps and totally new themes - Choose the session you like the best. Camps include a combination of drawing, painting and 3D projects. Share the camp information with your friends so you can register together!

Warm Sunny Beaches & Oceans of Fun
This is a week to kick back, relax and enjoy the water. Squirt bottle painting, tennis ball painting, dipped link painting and more – lots of ways to use water and paint to create incredible art. We’ll have fun with these unconventional painting techniques and then use these paintings for backgrounds for other projects. Drawings and paintings could include fish and other sea creatures, underwater treasures, palm trees and beautiful beaches.

Cartooning - Traditional
This week is all about drawing! Each day we’ll learn to draw several different cartoon characters. We’ll include some classic favorites like Mickey, Minnie or Piglet as well as fantasy aliens, rockets, and robots. In previous camps our drawings have included Star Wars, Garfield, Cars, Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Calvin and Hobbes, Snoopy, Shrek, Digimon, Hello Kitty, Goofy, Bugs Bunny, Sponge Bob and Nemo. We’ll learn about animation and make thaumatropes (spinning discs). Help us plan – when you register tell us what characters you really want to draw!

Cartooning - Pokémon
This cartooning camp will focus on Pokémon characters. Pokémon (Pocket Monsters) are cute, strange, powerful and so much fun to play with. This week everyone will become a Pokémon trainer and draw Pikachu, Venusaur, Chickorita, Squirtle, Mewto, Ponya and others – tell us your favorite Pokémon characters when you register. We’ll also create our own version of a Poké Ball. We’ll be drawing, painting and working in 3D, Shrinky Dinks and more! Join us for a week of supernatural powers and magical adventures.

Alice in Wonderland Tea Party Fun
Anything is possible – it’s a week of imagination, creativity, fun and believing “six impossible things before breakfast”. Younger campers will enjoy tea party fun, the Mad Hatter, White Rabbit, Cheshire Cat and Alice. We’ll draw and paint imaginary scenes, make teacups and work with clay. Older campers will explore a slightly more “mature” version of Alice in Wonderland incorporating some of Tim Burton’s (think Nightmare Before Christmas and the new Alice in Wonderland movie) style and attitude. Playing cards are guaranteed to turn into amazing useful works of art (older campers)!

Classic Camp - Art Adventures
This week will be filled with traditional camp projects featuring Sit Upons, Birdhouses, Gods-Eye Yarn Designs, Friendship Bracelets, Pony Bead Creatures, Gimp, Leather and S’Mores. We’ll learn campfire songs and weather permitting we’ll create some art outdoors. We’ll be drawing and painting animals and landscapes complete with tents and bears!

Discover Mexico
Mexico is filled with amazing art and artists. We’ll look at the work of Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo for inspiration as well as Tin Art, Oaxacan Animals, Molas, Tree of Life, and Day of the Dead Skeletons. Older campers will be working with clay to create Mexican markets (Mercados) filled with miniature fruits and vegetables. They will also be sculpting Milagros – small charms believed to have great powers. Younger campers will be using clay to sculpt Aztec Suns.

Summer Garden - Birds, Butterflies, Bugs and Flowers
It’s time to enjoy summer – we’ll be using nature for inspiration all week. We’ll paint flowers on canvas with acrylic paints and draw incredible designs based on butterflies and bugs. Older campers will learn how to “paint” with paper pulp. Older campers will also concentrate on developing their color mixing skills and painting techniques.

The Best of Both - Warm Sunny Beaches and Summer Gardens
We just added this camp to our summer lineup - it's a combination of two summer inspired camps. We're going to be spending time both at the ocean and in the garden. We'll be drawing, painting and working on 3D projects.

Cartooning - Superheroes
Superheroes – leaping tall buildings in a single bound, fighting villains in epic battles of good vs. evil and showing off their amazing superhuman power!! This week drawings could include Flash, The Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, The Incredible Hulk, Batman, Spiderman and Superman. We’ll also create our own superhero complete with super powers and the perfect superhero costume. When you register be sure to tell us who your favorite superheroes are.
