How much does it cost and what does it include?
Two hour parties are $30 per person and include all materials. Private parties of 6 are $35 - if you add that 7th person it's $30 per person. We use quality acrylic paint, 11x14 stretched canvas, and quality brushes. We teach in our art studio so we have lots of supplies on hand. We also supply cups, napkins, plates, and a corkscrew.

Who teaches the classes?
All of our 3 Cheers for Art teachers are teachers at Connecticut Art School. They are all artists and love teaching. They have great skills to share, endless amounts of patience, and they have fun teaching.

Are you part of Connecticut Art School?
Yes - 3 Cheers for Art is part of Connecticut Art School. The studio where we hold parties is also where we teach classes for our older students, students working on their college portfolios, and a Saturday afternoon oil painting class for 14 year olds through adults.

Why did you start offering 3 Cheers for Art parties?
Because we know there are a lot of people who love to draw and paint and are quite creative but they don't have a place to go to be creative. Paint parties only require a few hours of time and you get to choose the day the works with your schedule. We supply and the materials, a beautiful studio space to work, a fun, stress-free atmosphere, and teachers to guide you. What could be better?

Who can come to 3 Cheers for Art parties?
If you're 18 and older we want you to join us. It's a BYOB optional event and you must be 21 or over to bring alcohol. You can bring other drinks and snacks. We have complimentary coffee, tea, and water. 3 Cheer for Art painting parties are great for friends, a way to meet new friends, a perfect girls night out, date night, mom and daughter night, great for seniors, empty nesters - great for everyone!

What about private 3 Cheers for Art parties?
Absolutely - if you're interested in booking a private party for any event - birthdays, corporate events, holiday parties, bridal or baby showers - email Sharon at and we'll be glad to help you plan and set up a date.
