Connecticut Art School is excited to help support the Connecticut Cat Connection in Windsor. CT Cat Connection is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and helping cats find forever homes. They operate with a dedicated team of volunteers and support from the community.
We started our school year with many of the classes drawing cats - cats with hats. Now we are making the connection with art and community by organizing a food and toy drive for the cats and we have a special event planned.
For just a $5 donation you can come to our studio (1726 Ellington Road) and help us make no sew blankets and cat toys to donate to CT Cat Connection. Everyone is welcome - bring your friends, parents, grandparents. It’s a chance to get out of the cold and have some fun. You can drop your kids off or stay and help them - your choice.
We are also collecting food and cat toy donationsat the school and studio. The cats prefer Friskies canned food or Purina dry food (it’s easier for the volunteers if they can keep the food the same).
We have a limited number of spaces available. Register online at www.Rezclick.com/3cheesrforart
