The Art Show is back IN PERSON
As much as we loved being able to share our art show with everyone without schedule conflicts or geographical limitations we strongly believe art is most powerful when it’s seen in person.

We’re so excited to be welcome everyone to our 22nd Annual Student Art Show in person at Wapping Community Church on Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm.

Be sure to mark your calendars. We can’t wait to see you at the show!

All of our students receive professionally printed Art Show Invitations
Artists typically print invitations to promote and invite people to come see their work. We want to give out artists the same opportunity.

Invitations are NOT required to attend the show. They are more of a momento and they can be used to invite special people to the show.

There is no limit to how many people you can bring to the art show. Feel free to right click on these images to save digital copies of the front and back of the invitation. You can share it with long distance friends and family.

How do you prepare for the Art Show?
We CLOSE the school on May 13th - May 18th so the teachers can mat all of the art, prepare the exhibits, and take care of the endless details that go into creating the art show. The art show is included in your regular tuition so you get to take the week off while we prepare for the show.

When is the Art Show?
It’s Saturday, May 18th, 2024 from 2:00-6:00 pm

Do I have to stay the whole time?
No, we welcome you anytime from 2:00-6:00 pm. Stay as long as you like. We know spring is busy so if you just left a soccer game, first communion, or graduation come as you are. We’re happy to have you.

Where is the show?
It’s at Wapping Community Church in the gymnasium/community room. The address is 1790 Ellington Road, South Windsor. It’s just across the street from the art school, next to the town library. There is parking and it’s handicap accessible.

Will my child have art in the show?
Yes, every current student will have art in the show.

Do you give awards?
No, our school is non-competitive so we don’t give awards. We want every student to feel free to try new things and create their best work without the pressure of being judged.

How will I be able to recognize the students/artists at the show?
All our our students/artists will have buttons that identify them as an Artist.

Is there an separate admission charge?
No, the show is included in tuition and open to everyone. Bring as many people as you like. Everyone is welcome.

Why do you give the students invitations?
We give every student invitations so they can share the excitement of the event with special people in their lives. They can also save the invitation as a momento of the event. Invitations help add to the experience of the students being in an official art show.

Past Art Shows
Every year we celebrate the work of our amazing artists and each student has their work showcased in our Art Show. Since Covid our Art Shows have been virtual and there are some great benefits - people from all over the world can join us on Zoom on the live show day. Anyone can watch the video at anytime wherever they are. It’s a forever keepsake :)
